What to Cover in Your Pitch
- Open with your name, age, and business name — then hold up your handwritten sign
- Tell us the problem you're solving
- Tell us your solution and what you sell
- Tell us who your customer is and what you charge
- Tell us why someone should buy from you over anyone else
- Optional but encouraged: end with why you're the right person to build this
How We Judge (100 Points Total)
- The Problem — Is there a real, specific problem? Does the kid actually understand it?
- The Solution — Does the solution directly and specifically address the problem?
- Business Thinking — Do they know their customer, have a pricing idea, and explain why someone would choose them?
- Passion & Authenticity — Does this feel like their real idea? Do they genuinely care about it?
- Clarity & Communication — Could a stranger immediately understand the idea from start to finish?
This rubric is public. Every participant knows exactly how they'll be evaluated.
